The Parc du Futuroscope is a theme park based upon multimedia, cinematographic and audio-visual techniques. It has several 3D cinemas and a few 4D cinemas along with other attractions and shows, some of which are the only examples in the world.
The park is located near Poitiers and set in 130 acres. It has splendid buildings with futuristic architecture and also relaxing green parks surrounding each of the pavilions. Both children and adults will enjoy the Futuroscope.
In 2017 the Futuroscope theme park celebrated its 30th anniversary by opening "L'Extraordinaire Voyage", Europe's first flying theater attraction, which takes visitors on a journey à la Jules Verne's "Around the World in 80 Days".
The evening show is a new aquatic fairytale fantasy from the Cirque du Soleil. The Cirque du Soleil has created a tailor-made show inspired by the Futuroscope’s original architecture. |
